Tips for use

This leather garment has stylish elegance, a perfect fit and an excellent quality. Before wearing we advise you to treat your garment with a special leather spray, for an example with the Goosecraft leather spray.

The skin of an animal shows all sorts of variations, as grains, pores, scars and variations in thickness and colour. These are natural imperfections and not defects. This is actually a proof that the garment is made of genuine skin and no imitation. These differences of the skin cannot be taken by the garment manufacturer as grounds for possible complaints.

Leather is a natural product; the colouring process of leather is a laborious process. Each piece of leather will react differently to this process therefore, each part can have a different shade of colour. Be aware that the colour of the jacket can thus be different from the photo. This leather jacket is crafted out of 100% leather.

  • Never keep your leather garment in plastic.
  • Always use a coat-hanger.
  • A leather garment is not a raincoat.
  • Raindrops on pure aniline leather cause spots to appear on the garment. Such spots can be eliminated by mere rubbing of the skin’s surface with a soft clothes brush.
  • Dry at room temperature, never in the sun, near fire or central heating.
  • If your garment has become wet by accident, treat it again with goosecraft leather spray.
  • Never use benzene or acetone.
  • All garments made in suede shed, when new produce a dust which results from the shearing of the skin. for this reason you have to brush the garment and after a time all dust will disappear.
  • To remove greasy spots use an emery-stone for suede, a gum-velour’s of woly, or a very fine sandpaper (400-600).
  • Cleaning by leather specialist only.
